Business Head – Digital LAS (Loan Against Securities)

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused leader to head our Digital LAS (Loan Against Securities) business. This role demands a mix of entrepreneurial vision, deep domain knowledge in secured lending, digital platform experience, and a proven track record of scaling businesses from 0 to 1 and 1-10 & beyond. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in Banks/NBFCs, AMCs, or financial services platforms, with demonstrated success in building a ₹200–400 crore LAS book.

Key Responsibilities

• Own P&L responsibility for the LAS business, with aggressive targets on AUM growth, margins, and profitability
• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy across customer segments (Retail HNI, Corporate, Distribution-led)
• Identify new asset classes (Mutual Funds, Shares, Bonds, Insurance policies, etc.) and structure lending products around them
• Scale up multi-channel distribution: direct digital, D2C, B2B2C, wealth aggregators, brokers, and insurers
• Forge strategic partnerships with custodians, RTAs, AMCs, insurers, and wealth tech platforms
• Onboard and manage lending partners (NBFCs/Banks) and negotiate commercial arrangements
• Work with Product and Technology teams to build a seamless digital journey from onboarding to disbursal
• Drive automation and efficiency in operations, credit assessment, documentation, and collections
• Define credit policies in collaboration with lending partners and risk teams

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years in Loan Against Securities (LAS) or Mutual Fund distribution
• Experience with fintech, AMC, NBFC, bank, or wealth management platforms
• Demonstrated track record of launching and scaling digital lending products
