Performance Marketing Manager (Bangalore)

They are small & fast. Leadership: (ISB, ex-strategy + marketing effectiveness) Team includes veterans from top agencies and a stand-up comedian as our fractional Content Lead —because clarity, wit, and storytelling matter as much as CAC. They are creative-first, but make no mistake—they are deeply tech-savvy. They build custom dashboards, vibe-code solutions, and host internal hackathons. The Founder is a recognized trainer on GenAI applications. They just don't believe tech is the differentiator—it's table stakes, and we're better at it than most agencies out there. The difference? We use tech to amplify creative and strategy, not replace it.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly strategic and outcome-driven Performance Marketing Manager to lead and scale our performance marketing function in Bangalore. This is a pivotal role for an individual who thrives on building robust systems and frameworks, driving measurable business outcomes beyond just campaign metrics. You will collaborate closely with the founder and leadership team, playing a critical role in shaping how performance marketing is delivered, packaged, and scaled across our client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and own the overarching performance marketing strategy for all clients.
• Oversee and optimize paid media execution across platforms including Meta, Google, LinkedIn, programmatic, and emerging channels.
• Develop and implement full-funnel frameworks that directly link media performance to core business outcomes.
• Mentor, hire, and scale the performance marketing team, shaping the function's growth and capabilities.
• Design and implement insightful reporting systems that provide actionable intelligence, not just data tracking.
• Establish trusted decision frameworks for both clients and internal teams.
• Translate overarching business goals into clear, actionable performance marketing roadmaps.
• Articulate and own the performance narrative in client pitches, reviews, and renewal discussions.
• Serve as the primary expert for clients, providing deep insights into performance drivers and optimizations.
• Drive a systematic approach to testing creative angles, messaging, audience segmentation, and landing page flows.
• Collaborate strategically with creative, strategy, and content teams to develop high-performing ad campaigns.
• Establish robust feedback loops between performance data and creative hypothesis generation.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of progressive experience in performance marketing, preferably within an agency or high-growth in-house environment.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize campaigns across diverse industries, demonstrating an understanding of contextual performance variations.
• Deep expertise in creative-led performance, understanding the underlying principles of effective advertising beyond technical execution.
• Bonus: Experience in Pharma, BFSI, SaaS, or Healthcare sectors.
